Group Benefit Plans
My philosophy is to assist companies with developing a Group Benefit Plan that is cost effective for the employer while enhancing the employee’s overall health and enjoyment in the workplace. A company group benefit plan consists of one contract where the employer and employee pay into a fund or pool which is designed to share the financial risk of health related expenses among the group of employees.
When a Group Benefits Plan is in place for a company’s employees, any member of the group who becomes ill or uses the benefits is financially compensated by the plan according to the terms laid out in the contract between the employer and the insurance company.
Family members of employees are also covered for majority of the benefits under the plan as specified by the contract.
A minimum of 2 employees is all that is required to implement a plan.
